I regard Chan Meditation just the same as my prescription from God. But I can take it as much as I want, whenever I want and it will not give me any adverse side effect.
Additionally, I also realize that Chan Meditation is no different from seeing a doctor. It will not heal me immediately. I'll need to see it as many times as needed until I am fully healed, whether spiritually or physically.
After all, I had already over used my body as well as over stressed my mind for thirty plus years. It is more than reasonable if I could give both of them a couple of years to recover from these misuse and gain back their original brightness and energy.
